1. YES you can use just your ssn, I do.
2. Depends if you use the Quick Employer Forms or do them on your computer in the Windows Desktop program. The Quick Employer Forms only supports e-filing of the forms with the IRS and Social Security Administration. Copy A of the Form 1099 and W-2 are only used for e-filing and are not provided for printing.
