Do not use the search option, take the steps I listed above.
Your Cryptocurrency is enter as investment income. To do this you would click:
- Federal
- Income
- I'll Choose what I work on
- Scroll down to Investment Income
- Click Start next to Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
- Answer No, to the question did you receive a 1099-B
- Walk through the questions to enter your Cryptocurrency
