Refunds on amended returns are always done as a paper check mailed to the address on the return.
What this could be :
1) the original refund
2) the extra refund if the IRS recalculated the unemployment exclusion or the Premium tax credit
3) the third stimulus credit or the plus up if you did not get the full amount originally
