As for the saving issue...the save has been working OK for everyone (exaggeration) using Desktop software
"except" there have been some save issues for:
1) folks who have started using a USB-attached hard disk drive....One shouldn't save directly to one of those since there are some address issues between re-boots, or eject-re-attach steps that foul things up .
2) Occasionally someone tries to save to a file to a write-protected directory, or one that is encrypted and has not been re-opened since the last use.
3) For some folks with multiple Family or Guest login screens, the person preparing the tax return has to make sure they are using an account with Administrator privileges, otherwise, file Saves can be an issue too.
