Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Another couple things you might try is;

1)  to go back to the 1099-INT area in the Personal taxes area, and make sure you don't have an empty 1099-INT in there that may have transferred in from last year's tax return....but is empty this year.  Delete any unsued 1099-INT forms.

...also/or....

2)  if any of your 1099-INT forms have any box 8 $$ in them, you have to edit each one to make sure you answer the follow-up questions about what state(s) issued those box 8 $$.   (Choose "Multiple States" ...unless you want to spend the effort to break them down to your own state's bonds vs. all others....or if you are a resident of non-income-taxing state, like TX,FL,WA,WY,SD,NV, AK, you would choose "Multiple States " for all of it with no breakdown).  But a choice must be made in any case.
