Just to respond to your demands that a DIY program completed your return incorrectly and that they should fix it...

Let it be understood that the DIY program is just that ... it is only a program totally subject to the data entries of the user.  If you had unemployment to enter then it had to be entered in the 1099-G unemployment section and not as a W-2  so if you entered in the wrong place then you have only yourself to blame.   Then did you review the entire return before you sent it  ... so did you not notice the unemployment on the wrong line?  If you did not review the return for accuracy before you filed it then that was also a user error.  The program can only complete the return with the input you enter ... old saying garbage in garbage out.

Now to the issue of correcting these errors ... they cannot be done until the IRS has completed processing the original return.  There is nothing anyone can do to speed up that process so all you can do is wait.  Until they have "tossed the ball " back to you there is no way to know what needs to be done ... they may make all the corrections needed, or require you to file a new return  or even to amend it ... wait for a notice in the mail for directions.
