And---there are over a dozen kinds of 1099's---we do not know what kind you have. You say you had a "retirement fund"----what do you mean? Did you take money out of a retirement account? Did you enter a 1099R? And you say you had "ssi"-----do you really mean Social Security? SSI is not the same as Social Security----so when you are asking tax questions about income it is important to give us the right terms. Did you get a 1099SSA for Social Security?
