Get your taxes done using TurboTax

@Jimboge01  The IRS closed e-filing for extension requests after May 17.   If you live in one of the states that had the filing extension for the winter storm, your income tax return filing deadline was automatically extended by the IRS to June 15.   But if you wanted a longer extension---to October 15---the only way to get that was to MAIL the form 4868 to the IRS between May 18 and June 15 if you did not e-file the extension request form 4868 by May 17.  An extension never gives you extra time to pay tax due.   It gives you extra time to prepare your Form 1040 and file it.   If you are getting a refund, there is no penalty for being late.
