I recently got married this year. Me and my wife both had maximize our 401K contribution till last year. We are not sure if we will file jointly or separately for year 2021. This year we got married and have following questions
- Can we both contribute 19,500 to 401K this year. Is 19,500 limit for individual person or for couples
- If my wife is unemployed in future, what impact it has on my 401K contribution ? Does it increase my limit
- Is there anything which change from 401k point of view after we are married
