Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Your spouse cannot claim you as a dependent---a spouse can never be claimed as a dependent. If you are still legally married then your filing choices for the 2020 tax year are married filing jointly or married filing separately. So it would be a good idea to know how your spouse is filing. If he files a "joint" return he needs for you to agree to that----just as you would need for him to agree to file a joint return. Neither of you can decide that unilaterally.
And....there is the current issue of the stimulus checks that are being issued to eligible married couples and/or eligible individuals. Did you receive any of the stimulus checks?
You said you sold a house in 2020? There may be tax implications for the sale of the house, depending on how long you owned it and how long you lived in it, how much gain was made, etc.
Your tax situation might be complicated enough that you should be seeking legal advice and local paid tax help.
