This is the current behavior of the TT Desktop program if the customer claimed unemployment.  Because of the change to the program implementing the exclusion, someone can open a previously filed return and see that the refund amount has changed in the program without the customer actually doing anything to the program.  (This is a mistake of programming in my opinion, Turbotax should not change the filed tax return unless the customer takes affirmative action, in my opinion, but I am not a programmer.).  Because the program has changed the tax refund, it's not clear the program can even be used to amend, unless the programming is changed.  For now, customers who have already submitted tax returns containing fully taxed UEC should wait for an announcement from the IRS.
