Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I was not impressed.
The fact that it said you would be "impressed" would be a bit comical and ironic, if it were not frustrating. I'll assume you are using Online TurboTax, because that screen is not present in the desktop software. What it hopes you will be "impressed" by is that it allows you the opportunity to import the 1099-R into your return--IF your Payer is a participating partner, and if you want to import it. Otherwise, you'll have the opportunity to choose to type it in yourself.
In the Online version, a non-loading page is sometimes due to a browser issue. Do you have another browser to try? That will often solve it. If you don't have a second browser handy, then try this:
Log out of TurboTax.
Empty the browser Internet cache.
Close and open the browser.
Log back into TurboTax and try again.
If you still have the problem page after that, do all that again, but this time when you open the browser back up choose a private window (aka private browsing, incognito mode, etc.)
Does it still recur?
The non-loading page is titled "Let's import your tax info", and it has a search line and some financial institution logos. When you finally get to it, if you don't want to import, or if your Payer is not a partner institution when you use the search line, then you can scroll down on that screen and at the bottom right choose "Change how I enter my form." On the next screen at the bottom choose "Type it in myself" and continue on.
