For the federal taxes owed you can pay using your credit card.
Most if not all states do not allow a tax payment with a credit card using tax preparation software. They require you use the state website to pay by credit card.
In the File section of the program on Step 2 there are separate options on how to pay both the federal taxes owed and the state taxes owed. What options to you see for paying the state taxes?
