The IRS allows you to have a foreign address on your tax return. They usually contacts you through correspondence by mail. To see how to enter the foreign address in the program, click here: Foreign address
However, you cannot e-file as IRS regulations require a U.S. bank account to receive your tax refund, and you'll need a U.S. bank account (or credit/debit card with a U.S. billing address) if paying additional federal taxes owed.
To file by mail, here are the step:
In the TurboTax program,
- From the top, under "File", follow prompt
- On screen, " E-file Your Federal Return for FREE" / "How do you want to file?" Select File by mail.
