So you paid for the 2020 TurboTax software to be installed on your personal computer where you can create, complete and file your tax return from your computer. You have to enter your license code during the installation process on your computer.
You do not use the TurboTax online editions since you have already paid to use the TurboTax software on your computer. The TurboTax online editions and the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions are separate programs with different features and different price points.
