IF you didn't get a W-2, then delete any W-2 forms you started, nd continue thru the interview.
IF you display the whole menu for the Wages&Income page, there is a specific Retirement section you can scroll down to to select the 1099-R form type to make your retirement income / 1099-R entry.
If you are new to TTX, spend some time with it learning to navigate....don't submit your file until you have ALL your Income, Deductions&Credits entered.....and if you are using one, never use a phone to prepare and file taxes as it is too easy to miss things on a narrow/limited screen device...use a wide-screen tablet or full computer.
