Is there a way for me to re-file my 2019 tax return? I filed it by mail last year and apparently the IRS site says they never received one for 2019. I want to refile it.

your IRS status can be wrong because the IRS is backed up processing 2019 returns that were mailed in.

IRS says:

Don't mail in your 2019 return a second time.
