Awesome answer! Got it and printed out the amendment.
One more question, when I printed out the 1040X it also printed a fresh clean copy of the 1040 (with the appropriate changes). I assume we send both the 1040X and the new 1040 in but cannot find directions as to whether to sign the new 1040?
