If you have an agreement with the other parent and a signed form 8332 to be able to claim the child tax credit, then once your original return is processed, you can amend to include him as a dependent and get a stimulus payment as well.
The amendment forms will be available in TurboTax mid to late March. You will simply select the "Amend" option at sign in and follow the prompts to complete an amendment. The amended return will need to be printed, signed and mailed in.
