Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I have received my 1st and 2nd stimulus check and I am now curious what year taxes my 3rd check will be based off. The reason I am curious is because I am in a little bit of a situation. I filed my 2019 taxes and I also recently filed my 2020 taxes. However, when I filed my 2020 taxes they were "rejected" and I do not think I will have the problem sorted out and refiled by the time the 3rd stimulus check comes out. So, my question is will the IRS use my 2019 taxes instead of my 2020 taxes to calculate my stimulus check if my 2020 taxes are still in the rejected status when the IRS issues checks? Or will they still use my AGI from my 2020 taxes even though it is currently in a "rejected" status?
