No, you do not have to re-enter your 2020 tax data. The tax data file is not stored in the same location as the TurboTax program. Once the software is re-installed and started click on the File menu and then click on Open Tax Return. Browse to the location where the 2020 tax data is stored, usually in Documents and in the TurboTax folder. The 2020 tax data file has a file extension of .tax2020 if you need to Search for the data file.
