Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Unemployment is taxable income so your tax refund or tax due is impacted by receiving unemployment.   It is taxable on your federal return and taxable in some states.   If you did not have tax withheld from the unemployment then do not expect a big refund.

Did you enter your 1099G in the right place?   It is not on a W-2---it is on a 1099G

Enter your 1099G in Federal>Wages & Income>Unemployment

Go through the screens very carefully, making sure  to enter any federal/state tax you had withheld from the unemployment.
