The TurboTax online editions website is not a Free site. The Free online edition is only for very simple tax returns. If you enter any type of tax data that is not supported by the Free edition then you have to upgrade to the Deluxe edition or higher, which are paid editions.
If you are eligible you can use the TurboTax Free File Program which is on a separate website.
