The IRS sent out the first and stimulus payments. As @MinhT1 said, we have no details how a third stimulus (if there is one) will work.
That being said, the IRS will have your most current bank information on file after you filed a 2020 income tax return. The IRS did direct some payments to incorrect accounts but took additional steps to get the second Economic Impact Payments to more eligible taxpayers.
