You must wait to receive ALL your tax reporting forms so you can complete a true and accurate return as the IRS requires. AND since the IRS still has not announced when they will start processing 2020 returns (may not be until February) there is no reason to jump the gun. Last time there was last minute tax law changes and form changes there were thousands of early filers whose returns were either delayed for months or lost altogether and they had to paper file so do NOT get ahead of the game.
