TurboTax does not support tax year 2016.
You may find the 2016 TurboTax software available on Amazon. However, there is no guarantee that you will be able to get any updates to the software or able to download a state program.
If you are filing a 2016 tax return for a tax refund, the refund will not be paid since the time to file for a 2016 refund has expired as of October 15, 2020. However, if you have taxes owed then you need to file as the late filing and late payment penalties plus interest continue to accrue.
