The operative word is "should" but it is your responsibility to make sure it "does" ... I still think you used the EASY EXTENSION option in a different account ... try looking to see if you do have more than one account which is easy to do and very common AND would explain what happened to you ...
It's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used
