@Faithy1 Double check and make sure you entered your son's SSN correctly.  Is it rejecting and saying your son's SSN has already been used on a tax return?  If so--is he a teenager who may have filed his own tax return?  Or maybe someone else claimed him--on purpose or accidentally.  

 

If your return claiming your son is being rejected for his SSN then the only way you can file is to print, sign and mail your return and let the IRS sort it out.
