Awesome -- thank you @DoninGA! To be clear, are there any exceptions to that three-year stipulation I should be aware of? I.e., is there any chance, for whatever reason, it might not apply in my case? I'm a bit paranoid now about this "in most cases" clause on IRS.gov so I'm nervous about losing my (rather large) refund. (I'm not sure how to find the language in the actual tax code.)
