Mom cannot e-file now. You have put your SSN into the system. If she can claim you--as already stated--the only way she can file is by mail now. If she tries to e-file her return will be rejected. Regardless of what you do now, she cannot e-file.
You did not really tell us if you qualify as a dependent so we are flying blind here.

If you received a payment for someone who doesn’t qualify, you must return it to the IRS.
IRS instructions to return a paper check:
- Write VOID in the endorsement section on the back of the check.
- Mail the voided Treasury check immediately to the appropriate IRS location listed in the link below.
- Don’t staple, bend, or paper clip the check.
- Include a separate note stating the reason for returning the check.
IRS instructions to return an already cashed paper check or a direct deposit:
- Submit a personal check, money order, etc., immediately to the appropriate IRS location listed in the link below.
- Make the check/money order payable to U.S. Treasury. Write 2020EIP and the taxpayer identification number (social security number, or individual taxpayer identification number) of the check’s recipient.
- Include a brief explanation of why the payment is being returned.
