No the Desktop program can do unlimited returns returns. It saves each return as a separate file on your computer ending in .tax2019. They should be in your Documents then in a Turbo Tax folder. Are you on Windows or Mac?
In the Desktop program you can efile 5 federal returns for free. The rest you can print and mail. You can print and mail state return for free or it is 24.99 to efile a state return.
Call Support, I think you are accidentally using the Online version not the Desktop CD/Download program.
Can you post a screen shot so we can see what you are seeing and where you are stuck? What version do you have?
