Do you work for Intuit? Because that’s not what they told me.

For the record, the TurboTax Desktop CD/Download products Deluxe, Premier and Home and Business all come with 1 state download included.

To e-file the state return there is an extra charge. You can mail the state return for free. Federal e-filing is included in the package.

For TurboTax Desktop Basic, there is no state download included, federal e-filing is included.

@KL65   The $19.99 is the normal fee to efile each state return from the Desktop program.  You get 1 free state program download to prepare unlimited state returns in that state.  But then each state return including the first one is 19.99 to efile (goes up to 24.99 in March) or you can print and mail state for free.

Again like I stated, this is what the Turbo Tax representative told me for MY specific license key that I purchased.  If you disagree with what I was told, then call and tell them that they are giving incorrect information for MY specific license key.  

The purpose of my post was to inform people of unauthorized sellers and to not make the same mistake I made.  If you want to turn this into a display of your impressive amount of Turbo Tax knowledge, then by all means please continue but I won't be participating any further.

Right and we are glad you posted.  I was just pointing out that the 20 you paid to efile state is the regular fee to efile.  I pay the $20 (actually 19.99) to efile my state return and I got my program directly from Turbo Tax.

etaxintuit.com is a pirate. I bought premier version.  worked ok with product key the first time. On second  time product key did  not work.  error 603.   They sold the same copy and same product key to at least five more persons.  They installed it. Now you are out of luck. 

They make lot of money by selling the same product key to five buyers.  Most buyers do not install it on more than one computer.
