Try this. Delete the code P line from your W2. The go back to the moving expenses. On the screen that you describe:
"Do not include: The value of any moving expenses provided by the government. Any part of dislocation, temporary lodging or move-in housing allowance you received.' On that screen I enter in the amount that code P is for, which for this case is $654."
Do not put any entry in that box. The amount from your W2 box 12 covers this. Do not put it in again.
Then go back to your W2 and re-enter the box 12 code P and continue the interview. You should get the question asking you to link the box 12 data to the move you have entered in expenses. Click yes and finish the interview.
