@CJB-1959 You download the tax data file from the 2018 online edition to your computer. Then start a New Tax Return with the 2019 program, browse to the location you downloaded the 2018 tax data file so it can transfer to the 2019 tax return. The 2018 tax data file will have a file extension of .tax2018
To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download .tax file
