1. DURING AUDIT PROCESS THE AMOUNT APPLIED FROM 2018 REFUND TO 2019 TAX WAS CHANGED BY IRS FROM $5000 TO $681. 2019 TURBO CORRECTLY DISPLAYS THE ORIGINAL $5000 WHICH IS WRONG.

2. ALSO, COLEEND3, NO PROBLEMS CAME OF THE AUDIT AND I WAS ACTUALLY PAID $468.71 INTEREST FOR THE MONIES HELD. WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW IF THAT INTEREST IS TAXABLE. MY ASSUMPTION IS YES BUT...
Interest the IRS pays for the delay in processing the return is taxable ... enter it under the 1099-INT section by saying you will enter the bank yourself then enter in IRS and the amount.
3. AND FROM LEFT FIELD, IF YOU ENJOY QUESTIONS, AN INCORRECT AMOUNT APPEARS IN MY STATE TAX REFUND BLOCK. I'VE TRIED SOURCING TWO DIFFERENT 2018 FILES AND DOUBLE CHECKED NUMBERS ON EACH, TURBO IS ALWAYS UPDATED AND HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING ABOUT A GLITCH? BEEN USING TURBO SINCE DAY ONE SO I KINDA GOT AN IDEA OF HOW IT ABSORBS DATA FROM PRIOR YEAR.
