This will be reported as Other Income on line 8 of Schedule 1 which will then show on line 7a of your 1040.
To report this click the following
- Federal
- Wages & Income
- Click Yes or No to the questions asked regarding income
- Click Add more Income when you get to the Wages and Income page
- Scroll down click Show More next to Less Common Income
- Click Start Next to Miscellaneous Income
- Click Yes next to Other Taxable Income
- Enter your Other Taxable Income Amount and Description
