Get your taxes done using TurboTax

IF you find what you think are bugs...then report them.   There will be quite a few this early on and most of us helpers/SuperUsers don't have the software yet to test things out yet.   There will be tons of significant bug corrections issued before the filing process can start...just make sure you check for software updates every Friday (updates usually come out Wed or Thurs evenings).

The IRS still has a lot of forms in DRAFT form, and the TTX software hasn't implemented all of them yet either until they are released by the IRS, and then confirmed in the software.  But yeah, this early on, some folks will get frustrated with all the bugs...sometimes it's better to just not bother starting before mid-January.

For checking the next year's situation ahead of time, sometimes it is better to use the prior year's (2018 in this case) desktop software, and utilize it's "What-If" worksheet where you check it's 2019 taxes box.....that won't be exact, but it should be close (don't know if they use the proper 2019 std ded in the 2018 What-If...but should be close enough)
