Get your taxes done using TurboTax
What type of income was reported on your 1099-MISC? Did you work for someone that didn't withhold income taxes or Social Security/Medicare taxes from your pay?
If you did, you are considered self-employed (or "contract labor"). Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for instructions on entering your 1099-MISC. You'll be required to upgrade to a paid edition of TurboTax in order to enter your 1099-MISC. You will also be required to pay self-employment taxes. TurboTax will figure all of that for you.
