A 2018 tax return can be filed at any time.
Using TurboTax you can e-file a 2018 tax return up through October 15, 2019. After that date the 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed.
If you are filing for a tax refund or there are no taxes owed there are no penalties for filing after the due date.
