It looks like you may have upgraded to a higher version and that means you have to also pay extra for your State Returns also. To qualify for the free edition, you must:
- Made less than $100,000
- Don't own a home or rental property
- Don't own a business or have 1099-MISC income
- Didn't sell investments
- Don't have major medical expenses
If you do qualify, you can
clear and start over and choose the
Free Edition.
