No. That will not work at all. If you only list dependents and try to file a tax return without entering your income, you will get nothing at all. You cannot receive a tax refund if you do not include your income on the tax return. You must wait for your W-2. Employers have until January 31 to give you the W-2.
You can go ahead and enter your other information including your dependents onto your tax return, but do NOT e-file without entering your W-2.
