1099Q received has my husband listed in recipient box but my daughter's SSN listed. Can I use this form and who should report? Payments went direct to university
Wondering if I need to request a corrected form? According to IRS, it appears if payments went direct to school - beneficiary should report but not sure since name and SSN don't match on my form.
