I can't remember if I claimed myself. How do I ckeck?

If you (or your spouse) can be claimed as a dependent, check your return.
On the new 1040 check on the second line at the top under your name. It says.......
Standard Deduction and there is a checkbox if someone can claim you. That would not be checked if you are claiming yourself.
Next line down is for spouse Standard Deduction and if someone can claim your spouse.
