You should not complete a tax return using your last paystub. The IRS does not have your last paystub, they have the W-2 supplied by your employer. The paystub and W-2 almost always do not match so the IRS will either reject your filed tax return outright or hold it for investigation for several weeks or months before contacting you about the discrepancy.
Employers have until January 31 to provide a W-2. The IRS will not be accepting any type of 2016 tax return until January 23.
