If you would like a review, click the text Live Tax Advice in the top right of your screen.

However, all the appointments for today are gone, so you would need to file an extension to take advantage of this service.

Luckily, extensions are free and easy to file.

1.     Open your return in TurboTax Online.
(To do this, sign in to TurboTax and select the Take me to my return button.)

2.     Select File an extension at the bottom of the column on the left side of the screen.

o   If you don't see the File an extension button in Step 2 above, search for extend in the upper right and select the Jump to link at the top of your search results.

3.     Follow the onscreen instructions to e-file your extension.

If you transferred your 2017 return into your 2018 return at the start, then there may be an orphaned item listed in "other expense" that is expecting an amount, or maybe you entered an expense without the amount.    What type of income is the "other expense" related to--rental income, royalty income, self-employed business, farm, etc.?     Was that the extent of the message, or did it point to any particular form, worksheet, or topic?

Are you using Online TurboTax?  If so, which edition--Deluxe, Premier, Self-Employed, Live Deluxe, Live Premier, Live Self-Employed?
