Deluxe has forms the Free Edition does not, like 1099 income.
You can file your federal
(1040EZ/1040A) and state taxes for free if you:
- Made less
than $100,000
- Don't own
a home or rental property
- Didn't
sell investments
- Don't own
a business or have 1099-MISC income
- Don't have
any major medical expenses
To remove Fees:
When
you're in your return (past the Take me to
my return button):
- Select File in the left-hand menu.
- Continue until you get to Step
1, Review your order, then select Start.
- When you get to your order
summary, select Remove on the items you do not need.
