Oh no, I'm very sorry that happened to you. Don't worry, there is a work-around that will allow you to access a download of the same product you purchased by contacting us-particularly "Product Support."
You are certainly entitled to be pushed a download for free. You will have to press the "Contact Us" button in your TurboTax account. Then write out your question in the text box and mention you need to be "Pushed a Download." When you get to the point in which you can speak to a live agent, explain to them your situation and they will push you a download after you have provided them with a verification code (found on your CD). Below are the steps in order to contact us:
If you're using TurboTax Online:
- Start by signing in to your account (if you aren't already). Why do I need to sign in?
- Click Contact in the upper-right corner of your screen.
- Ask your question, and then:
- Post it to our community of experts; or
- Talk one-on-one with a live TurboTax Expert, CPA, or enrolled agent (requires the PLUS add-on if using Federal Free Edition).
If you're using the TurboTax CD/Download software or can't sign into your account, click here to contact us. Ask your question, click Continue, and follow our onscreen instructions.
