You can void or cancel your return in TurboTax Online before you have paid, registered, or clicked the final transmit button by using the Clear & Start Over feature to start over again. If you have already clicked "Transmit" or filed, you cannot cancel the return.
- Sign in to your return in TurboTax Online.
- Select Tax Tools in the left menu, then select Tools.
- Click Clear & Start Over.
- Answer "Yes" to confirm.
