- Open your return, if it's not already open.
(To do this, sign in to TurboTax and select the Take me to my return button.)
- Select Federal and then Deductions & Credits.
- Select All tax breaks, then scroll down to the Education section.
- Select, Show more and select Start or Revisit next to ESA and 529 qualified tuition programs (Form 1099-Q).
- Follow the screens to enter your info.
