Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Underneath your question is a tag that indicates desktop software, but I suspect you are actually using Online TurboTax, so that's what I will address.

 

Sorry you had that experience.  I assume you already paid.  It would have been better to ask for help in removing any extra fees prior to paying when it would have been easier to resolve and tell you how to switch to another product.   In my experience, it's difficult for most people to get a refund for Online TurboTax.   TurboTax support will often say that continuing to pay and file indicates acceptance of the terms.  I would tell you to call TurboTax Support and plead your best case, but it sounds like that's what you already did.  You can try again if you wish.  You'll likely get a different agent, but they tend to have a script to go by.

You could try the online refund request tool mentioned in this FAQ, but I don't know how far you can get in it.  You may hit a roadblock after indicating Online TurboTax.  See this FAQ about their refund policies:
